Optimism And Utopian Art By American artist Josh Keyes

Josh Case, born in 1969 in Tacoma Washington. He graduated from the school at the Chicago Art Institute and later received an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) at Yale University. For many years the development of his work, collected in a personal vocabulary of images, creating a mysterious and sometimes disturbing comparisons between humans and the natural world. Paintings convey a stirring vision of what the world might look like in the future as a result of current predictions of global warming. Some of his works convey the images found in the bleak post-apocalyptic literature, while others express optimism and utopian ideas found in the writings of Buckminster Fuller and Paolo Soleri.
