In the London gallery «white cube» before August 22 will be the last exhibition of works by artists Gilbert and George (Gilbert & George).
This creative duo was born back in 1967 when the two artists met at St. Martins School of Art. Gilbert and George, together, have become a kind of art to create a product whose name «living sculpture» (and movies). This epic canvases, in which all parts are folded to form a mosaic.
The exhibition, called “Jack Freak Pictures” has severe social implications, the dominant visual element of the state flag United Kingdom of Great Britain (known to all “Union Jack”, hence the title of the exhibition). The works of this duo can be described as complex illustrated dramas.
