Theater and Dance Company "Pilobolus Dance Theatre" was established in 1971. During the years of existence, the team gathered imaginable and unimaginable rewards in dances. Members of the troupe can create from their own bodies all sorts of shapes, demonstrating mastery of possession by the human body. At this time, "Pilobolus" swung to the alphabet. In collaboration with photographer John Kane, they created the alphabet of the "living" character to use these images in the book.
For four days they spent in the studio, where their bodies from the twisted letters of the English alphabet. Next to each letter in the book will be shown the object, beginning with that letter. Pictures of objects whose names begin with that letter, also "paint" dancers.
